I had so many complex feelings reading this piece. Your story is profound and powerful. And this is stunning: “ I made a commitment to myself, to enjoy every part of my journey despite the outcome.”

Laura thank you so much for reading. The journey hasn't been the easiest but I've found so much healing in sharing some of the parts i struggled to process in the past. That statement is something I'm challenging myself with even now.

'Joy is unlimited' - I love that thought. I am writing it down in my journal.

As I reach my mind 20s, I am realising how challenging it is to let joy into my life as opposed to when I was a kid. It is mainly due to the stress at work, building a career, desiring productive days everyday, the list is endless. I truly believe that all of us have a unique feeling attached to different seasons of life. I try to revisit the feeling of joy that I felt as a kid years ago. It keeps me going on overwhelming days.

Thank you for this lovely newsletter Josefina💕

Mansi I'm so glad that those words held you as they are holding me. Its pretty amazing that you can identify the difference in inviting joy in from childhood and adulthood experiences. I agree on the unique attachment, it all stems from our own journey of growth and healing. I've been challenging myself to visit childhood joy a little more than I ever have especially while being a mom to two year olds. Knowing that one day they'll have to reach for their childhood joy and hopefully have me in it.

When I was a child I had to search for joy and found it in the happy place in my mind ,where I was free to daydream . I created my own happy place where I was free of anxiety and free to fly. As an adult, I have grown to see that joy is infused in the air we breathe. Each day I step outside my house Mother Earth greets me with her energetic charged breeze. When it hits my face… I realize Joy is all around us infused, in all that is . She leaves an open invitation, waiting to integrate with all that hear her frequency.

This is gorgeous, Josefina. Thank you for sharing such beautiful words from the heart. This reminds me of the verse ‘Rejoice in the Lord always’. It’s easy to feel the joy when life is good but faith really grows when life is tough and we choose to feel the joy anyway! ❤️
