Perfect timing! I found myself hesitating to purchase tickets to a yoga class despite saying for months I long to return to the practice. I'll be repeating “I am worth the investment” as I secure my spot in tomorrow's class. Thank you for this 💗

I love this Akilah. Isn’t it wild how something we’d tell our loved ones to go for, we hesitate to do for ourselves. I hope to hear that you went to the class in the coming days! You are worth the investment!

Thank you, I did and it felt wonderful, physically and mentally. Hoping to make it a habit. That is so true though, I was actually just encouraging my friend to do the same and it was second nature but doing it for myself wasn’t.

I'm so glad you went. Yes to making it a habit. I started back in September and it's been such a gentle healing journey. I hope you continue the practice.

My wife and I talk about this a lot. Today she purchased a Dyson vacuum. . Before she pressed purchased - she had to do so much mental, not financial gymnastics. We have to remind ourselves that not only we are worth the investment we are also deserving of all things good!

yes yes yes yes! Amen. We are deserving of good things. I love that! (I'm also going to be that person and ask which Dyson because I am looking)

“I am capable of creating a life of abundance and fulfillment.”

I’m taking that one with me.

This was beautiful, so glad to have found your work. 🫶

11:11 on the clock as I type this. For me it’s a sign that what I just read from this post was indeed a nudge from God saying “you are worth the investment” -- I find it incredible how connected we all are. Through your words, I’m finding my current challenge and yet also through your words I just found a way to overcome it. Had to screen shot those affirmations! So good. Thank you Josefina. 🩷

Beautiful perspective and affirmations! I'm proud of the work I've over the past few years (especially in therapy) to unlearn limiting beliefs to embrace abundance in my life. The work continues but grateful for growth!

I grew up in section 8 housing and on food stamps to a single mother. I understand how difficult it is to spend money on yourself. The scarcity mindset is such a real thing. You are worth it and we have to keep reminding ourselves that.

Thank you for sharing this! I love the affirmation, I am worth the investment!

My parents often operate from a place of scarcity and I do as well sometimes when it comes to money. I feel most abundant when I’m traveling.

Letting go of scarcity is definitely something I want to work on.

Yes yes yes. My parents do as well and even though I’m not in the same position I was in when i was young its still embedded in me. Learning to let go of that and embrace abundance has been a journey. But I am learning to release and receive the abundance that is in front of me.

Thank you for this. Childhood scarcity runs DEEP. Most recently my husband had to remind me that I am worthy of little luxuries like high end shampoo. It’s a constant reminder that I am worthy of enjoyment and good things. Just because I’ve experienced struggle doesn’t mean it has to be my future. I'll hold on to "Struggle is not the theme of my story". Thank you.
