An important reminder Josefina! Toward the end of this year I abruptly realized that I'm a human doer and had little capacity for just being. I'm working on that and learning daily to pause, reflect, and notice even if it's just pockets of moments throughout the day. Happy New Year!

Katherine, Thank you for sharing. I'm definitely a doer all the way, but life has a way of humbling and showing you when you need to stop. I hope this new year is a gentle, soft, and present one for you.

"Let today be today." Simple, not always easy. Potent. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing Josefina✨️ Breathe, flow, embrace, let it go. These are some wise words from my aunt to help me through some of my most difficult moments going through the process of divorcing a narcissistic, evil man all while raising my daughter as a single mom. This is the energy I used for 2023 and my life has seen such positive change, I look forward to bringing that energy along with what I just read from you, letting today be today, and see just how much better this year will be💜

Three lessons I learned are: 1) I couldn't be perfect even if I tried; being myself is more than enough. 2) Follow the feeling even if there is no path, the path will eventually appear. 3) You're unlike anyone else in your circle, your family, the world... and that is your super power.

Thank you for your transparency and electing to share your children's birth story.

Such a beautiful letter! Thank you so much, Josefina. I share your birth story of what was envisioned a calm and natural birth turning into an experience of uncertainty, unbearable pain and lack of control. I am so glad you are all well and you would create such a deep and calm space here on Substack! (And I have looked at many just having started out some months ago here myself!) I love your way of merging beautiful aesthetics with deep and slow words. Danke 🙏
